Idaho Falls, Idaho - Today Jeffrey Lungren, Executive Director of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, was in Idaho to present U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) with the the Chamber's annual Spirit of Enterprise Award. This recognition honors Risch’s support for pro-growth and pro-business policies in the second session of the 114th Congress. The Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award is given annually to members of Congress based on their votes on critical business legislation.

“Government cannot replicate what America's individuals, small businesses and corporations accomplish every year,” said Senator Risch, chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. “The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recognizes that truth and shares my strong support for our nation's 28 million small businesses. It's a pleasure working with the Chamber to advance legislative policies that allow businesses to continue to grow and thrive."
