Help With a Federal Agency

As your U.S. Senator, one of my most important roles is to assist Idahoans with matters pertaining to a federal agency. My specially trained staff can assist you if you are:

  • Experiencing a problem with a federal program, rule, regulation, or administrative decision; or
  • Unable to receive an answer or find information from a federal agency in a timely manner.

To receive assistance from my office, please call my nearest regional office or contact us via email.

Legal and Court Matters

Due to the U.S. Constitution’s separation of powers, I cannot assist in or influence judicial or court matters, such as child custody, divorce, pending litigation, criminal trials, or imprisonment. I also cannot provide legal advice or recommend an attorney.

Idaho State Issues and Agencies

Problems involving Idaho state agencies - such as welfare or state taxes - also are outside my jurisdiction as a United States Senator.

For assistance on state issues, please contact your local legislator, the Governor’s Office, or visit the State of Idaho website.
