Washington, D.C. – Today, the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources voted to pass three bills sponsored by U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID). The bills, S. 733, the Sportsmen’s Act of 2017, S. 97, the Nuclear Energy Innovation Capabilities Act of 2017, and S. 590, will be considered by the full Senate next.

“I thank Chairman Murkowski for her urgency in bringing these bills before the full committee for consideration,” said Senator Risch. “It’s clear that the pace in Washington has quickened, and Republicans are eager to send common-sense legislation to the President’s desk for his signature. I look forward to seeing these bills come before the full Senate for a vote.”
