Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jim Risch today joined Mark and Christa John and Michael and Mary Young of Sweet, Idaho as they received the Missing Children’s Citizen Award from the Administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in Washington, D.C. The Johns and Youngs were being recognized for providing information that led to the successful rescue of Hannah Anderson from her alleged abductor, James Dimaggio, in the Frank Church River “No Return Wilderness Area” in Idaho on August 7, 2013.

“Idaho people are incredibly proud of these fellow Idahoans who went out of their way to do what was right. It’s what Idahoans do!” said Risch.

The heroes are getting a private tour of the U.S. Capitol hosted by Senator Risch during their time in Washington, D.C.
