Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Jim Risch has named Bullet Tools as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for May in recognition of their tremendous efforts and years of success.  The company has been recognized in the Congressional Record of the United States Senate.

“I am pleased to recognize Bullet Tools as an outstanding small business.  This is a company that has grown and adapted over the past 16 years,” said Sen. Risch. “Locally owned and family operated, Bullet Tools has expanded its manufacturing business overseas and was recognized as the Small Business Administration’s 2009 Northwest Small Business Administration Exporter of the Year.  I congratulate everyone at Bullet Tools on their success and wish them the very best in the future.”

Founded in 1998, Bullet Tools is recognized globally as a leading expert in fixed-blade cutting tools for the construction industry.  With their originality and commitment to excellence, it is easy to see why this small business is thriving.

Senator Risch is the highest ranking Republican on the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.  The committee oversees proposed legislation on matters relating to entrepreneurship and provides oversight of the Small Business Administration.  They also research, investigate and report all problems relating to American’s small businesses to the full Senate.
