You are very deserving of this medal and it is unfortunate you had to wait so long before finally getting it. All of us greatly appreciate your service to our country.

Washington, DC – Idahoans and residents of states adversely affected by nuclear fallout from arms testing during the Cold War era deserve greater attention and compensation for health problems related to the above ground tests.  For that reason, Idaho Senators Jim Risch and Mike Crapo have joined several colleagues in the U.S. Senate to introduce […]

Brianne's experience in the energy arena, particularly in working with DOE's Hanford site, is a natural fit for Idaho. It will allow her to step right in and move forward the policies and issues critical to Idaho in my work on the Energy Committee.
This award is just a reflection of the values of Idahoans. They have placed a great trust in me to represent their pro-family values in Washington.
The pilots and weapon system officers broke the F-15E deployment record, flying more than 14,000 hours in just over six months.
A broad domestic energy supply is critical for America to grow its economy. This plan helps accomplish that by putting renewable energies under a similar framework as conventional energy sources. It also requires royalty payments that will benefit the counties and states where the projects occur.
This legislation is good for Idahoans and good for our economy. Instead of restricting access to a few months each year, outdoor enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a variety of activities year-around. It will also simplify the process for resort operators.
We are pleased to see that our Senate colleagues agree with us and recognize that the potato is an important vegetable to keep in school meals. It was clear that no one wanted to increase the cost of school meals, reduce local flexibility and make it more difficult to deliver the healthy foods our kids need.
Setting limits on the number of times any vegetable can be served doesn't make sense, especially when that vegetable meets a variety of nutritional standards at a fraction of the cost, said Risch. "Local school districts have prepared plenty of nutritious meals for students over the years. They have budget constraints to deal with and don't need the federal government telling them which foods to serve so long as they meet the standards of a healthy diet."
It's stunning to hear this kind of action is happening right here in America, said Risch. "It is critical that Americans understand that federal bureaucrats have gone well beyond their authority to keep our air and water clean. The legislative branch must reclaim its constitutional right to legislate and stop these abuses."
