Small communities across Idaho will benefit from this commonsense legislation. I am happy to see such resounding bipartisan support for the bill and look forward to all the good that it will do for the state of Idaho.

Idaho people are incredibly proud of these fellow Idahoans who went out of their way to do what was right. It’s what Idahoans do!

These young loggers will help restore Idaho forests and all national forest lands into healthy, fire-tolerant forests and bring much-needed natural resources into the marketplace to make paper and build homes.

Although a commission would force a pause in the decision process, a pause is better than a hasty move that could have negative implications on the National Guard and our nation's overall war-fighting ability.

As members of both the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, we remain concerned with the inexcusable lack of accountability at the Department of State following the September 11, 2012 terrorist attacks against U.S. diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya.
