My home state is fortunate to have the Idaho National Laboratory located in Idaho Falls, the nation's lead nuclear laboratory and a world leader in securing the ever-growing cyber network. I am glad to have the opportunity to join with Senator Durbin in co-chairing the Senate National Laboratory Caucus and furthering support for our national labs in the United States Senate.
Collin is an exceptionally bright and talented young Idahoan. It was a privilege to spend time with him and his mother and to learn more about their family's story. I'm grateful for the sacrifices they make as Collin's dad serves in the Air Force Reserve in Idaho, having been deployed four times, and proud of Collin's considerable achievements.

Commonsense tells us the president would do well to immediately, publicly, and loudly rescind his executive order of 2012. That action would reverse the flood of unaccompanied illegal immigrant children to the United States, since it was that executive order that unleashed this flood.
Idaho County needs adequate resources to provide a gun range not only for its citizens but also for its law enforcement. The Idaho County Sheriff's Office currently lacks the ability to effectively train their staff in firearm duty because they do not have facilities in the area. Also, the recreational use of firearms is common among Idahoans; many use it as an opportunity to teach safe and responsible practices to younger generations.
