The federal government’s primary constitutional duty is to protect and defend the people, land, and resources of the United States of America. As Senator, I will do everything in my power to ensure that our armed forces are strong and well-trained, with the resources they need to carry out their missions.
As Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I prioritize protecting the security and interests of the American people. The United States must remain a global leader on the issues most important to our economy, security, and continued prosperity.
