WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Amy Coney Barrett by a vote of 52-48 to serve as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Upon her confirmation, U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho) issued the following statement:

“Throughout her confirmation, Judge Barrett has consistently impressed the Senate and the American people with her sterling credentials and exceptional legal skills and acumen.
