Boise, Idaho – U.S. Senator Jim Risch today announced those students who have received military appointments to the United States service academies.  Risch had nominated the Idahoans for consideration by the academies.

“Each year I am truly impressed with the young men and women who apply to our service academies.  We have some remarkable students in Idaho who are leaders and excel academically. They have many choices when it comes to furthering their education and I am proud they have chosen to serve our country.  It was an honor for me to nominate them to our various academies,” said Risch.

U.S. Air Force Academy Appointments:                  
Samantha A. McCain – Ammon                                
Grant T. Hruby – Boise                                             
Kallie J. Leonard – Boise

Steven E. Price - Dalton Gardens
Nathan B. Marshall - Idaho Falls
Kaden J. Steingruber - Meridian
Copper D. Blas - Middleton
David J. Borden – Rupert

Some of the students were also nominated by other members of the Idaho delegation.
