Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Jim Risch is moving his Idaho Falls office to a new location and has hired Renee Richardson to serve as a constituent services specialist there.

Beginning the first week of January, Risch's office will be located at 901 Pier View Drive in the Snake River Landing development. The new location will provide more convenient access and parking for residents of Bonneville, Butte, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison and Teton counties. Those wishing to contact the Idaho Falls office can do so at the same phone and fax numbers. Information for all of Risch's regional office locations is listed on his Web site at: www.risch.senate.gov.

"Providing Idahoans with convenient and reliable service on a variety of federal issues is my top priority. The addition of Renee, along with this new office location, will help me do that and I encourage any who need assistance to stop by," said Risch.

Richardson is a lifelong Eastern Idahoan and retired public/community affairs manager for US West/Qwest Communications in Pocatello. She most recently served as vice president of business development for Idaho TechConnect, Inc., and as constituent services specialist for retired U.S. Senator Larry Craig. She joins Regional Director Amy Taylor in Risch's Idaho Falls office and will assist area residents with any questions or issues they have with federal agencies.

Risch has also hired Jessie McLeod to serve as a staff assistant in his Boise office. McLeod is a graduate of Orofino High School and is finishing her political science degree at Boise State University. She has worked as an administrative assistant at BSU and most recently as an intern in Risch's Washington, D.C., office.
