Risch Names Committee Staff Director

Holderness Named to Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Jim Risch, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, announced today that Skiffington Holderness of Boise, Idaho will serve as Staff Director for the committee’s Republican office.  Holderness had been serving as a Legislative Assistant to Senator Risch on financial issues including small business.

“I am pleased that Skiffington is willing to take on the challenge of serving as Staff Director of this important committee. His years of service have proven to me that he understands the complex issues facing small businesses across Idaho and the United States. I look forward to  his help as the committee works to make it easier for small business owners to pursue the American dream and thrive in this difficult economy.” said Risch.

Holderness first worked with Senator Risch during his Senate campaign as a deputy campaign manager. He is a graduate of Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
